Ticket price £18.00 (151 miles - 2hrs 45 mins although went up via M11/A1 which was much better than the return journey via the M1 which had a problem at jct 21 so had to avoid it via the M42/M40/M25 so another 50 miles and 40 minutes!! Field Mill may be The Oldest Proffesional Football Ground In The World and it showed in some instances, although 3 rows from the front my seat had very little leg room and as the stadium had three distinct separate stands and one that was derelict and covered in hoardings it was an absolute wind tunnel! There was no build up to the match and Mansfield started very slowly and went one down quite early although once they equalised the drummer started drumming and the atmosphere certainly picked up. Bought a pin badge of the game in the friendly club bar which was a nice place to be before the game)
