It was a long journey down to Eastleigh, broken up by a 45 minute stop at Leicester Forest services. Once at Eastleigh football ground I set about finding something to eat. After quite a walk I found a pub and spent £5 on a steak and chips meal. It was accompanied by a horrible real ale called White Witch. The worst drink I have ever had. The match was amazing and Grimsby bossed it. At least six goals could have been scored but only one actually was scored. Olly Palmer was the hero. The journey home was good and I crept into the house at 0230. Eastleigh have ambitions and the ground looked as if it ought to blue to be developed easily into a league ground.
