Ex rovers Kay and McIntyre started with Linwood coming on as sub. Seddon and an og from Brizell gave Chester a 2-0 interval lead Hobson increased the lead but two good freekicks from Blakeman made the score respectable sandwiched by a red card for Chesters Brown with half an hour remaining. Rooney had a spectacular effort from wide of the left near the halfway line which i think forced the corner from which they scored their third.
