Caught .45 train from Paddington to Cardiff. Lee Darnton met me and took me back to his house, met his wife Cathy, and son George, and daughter Alice, and was given brunch before Lee George and I went to the game. Being August, Lee had booked us to stand on the open terrace, and of course it rained all day. My trouses were soaked. Good of Lee to look after me though. Cardiff''s last season at Ninian Park.
