On the same day as manager Micky Adams left the club by mutual consent, Brighton put in a battling performance against play-off contenders Millwall to secure a 4th away victory of the campaign. Adam Virgo netted a header for his fourth of the season, but this was a brilliant defensive display, with the whole team putting in an extra shift to frustrate the hosts all 90 minutes.
The New Den is a brilliant ground, and whilst the Millwall fans are not as hostile as they once were, they still create a good atmosphere, helped today by a fantastic following from the Soth Coast.
