Comments :

Got train from Streatham Common to change once to get to Crawley but because of national rail we had to change at Selhurst and than had to go to West Croydon to get the tram to East Croydon. From there we got a train to Crawley from which we walked to the Broadfield Stadium. We arrived dead on time and as we sat down the game started. We all went due to Dad's birthday weekend.

Not a moment to breath at this one. Gillingham defended well in the first half to keep it 0-0 but after the break it all kicked off on another higher level. Gillingham took lead with penalty, then a sending off for both teams then an equaliser and Crawley took the lead. Gills equalised then 3-2. Six minutes of injury time and a Crawley player headed it onto his own post. Good quality football too. Good crowd, few gaps. Train travel awful and got into our seats at 3:01.
