Match no. 364. West Ham won 4-3 on aggregate. A tremendous performance by West Ham in pouring rain on a mudbath of a pitch. Trevor Brooking scored twice with Keith Robson also scoring with a wonderful long-range shot. In the final Hammers lost 4-2 to Anderlecht at the Heysel stadium in Brussels.
