Match no. 41. Manchester United clinched the League Championship with this thumping win, having gone 3-0 up after 15 minutes. Law (2 - 1 pen), Best, Charlton, Crerand and Foulkes were their scorers. Their celebrating fans spilled all over the train tracks at Upton Park station afterwards causing the power to be turned off and forcing me and my mate to walk to Stratford station to get the tube from there, arriving home some 2 hours late.
