An easy drive from Milton Keynes (last night''s game). Lunch on the quays - very nice indeed.
Nice ground. Good crowd and very good football played by Paul Jewell''s Ipswich team. West Ham looked poor by comparison.
Drove back to Apsley (for tomorrow''s Watford visit) listening to Super Saturday at the London Olympics on the radio (including the Murray and Robson semi-final). Went straight to the Paper Mill pub when we got back and watched Olympics all night. Simon came over to join us and we all drank too much. But what a night?! What a day?!?! Seven golds.
