The first football match that I ever attended in England. My dad chuckled at the songs for most of the game and, being Boxing Day, the turkey sandwiches were strongly in evidence at half time. Dean Saunders was playing up-front for Liverpool and was very mouthy indeed. Rangers were properly unlucky not to have taken all three points. A fairly entertaining afternoon in Shepherd's Bush, despite the goalless draw.
