A midweek trip memorable for bad reasons. A trouble free trip down and another end of season Wolves midweek match to forget. One amusing incident was when the Millwall winger put over a very poor cross and apologised to the crowd, I mean I know Millwall have a reputation ... The trouble began after the match. We were the last coach in the car park but the police had had intelligence that some Millwall hooligans were gonig to attack from the front. This wasn't the case and two windows were put in. A few of the older fans cowered under the seats and one lad had glass in his eye. Some of the younger element tried to get off the bus and a couploe of Millwall fans got on. Before it got worse the police arrived but it took a while to calm down. We ahd to call at the local infirmary so our wounded colleague could receive attention. We didn't get back to Telford until well past 1am and it was a very cold journey home.
