This was literally the worst match I had ever seen, and, to this day (in 2014), it is still the worst game I have ever seen. Pitch was perfect, conditions were perfect, but Portsmouth and Blackpool weren't. It was the 0-0 to end all 0-0's. On a scale of 0 to 10, this match was barely a nought. After the match I went home and cheered myself up by watching paint dry. The only redeeming feature was the occasional glimpse of sublime skill from Blackpool's Alan Suddick.
