Seb, Dom & Conboy are the only ones brave enough to take the journey down to the racist part of the crapital... for some bizarre reason its been moved to a friday night so trains are out the question for us, decide to go on premier. For some unknown reason the daft coach driver on the way down goes through holloway and into central london, nice sightseeing tour when we couldve been drinking. We get 30mins to get off the coach for refreshments, we finally rock up in some fancy bar full of suits not far from Bank tube station, little did we know we''d actually need the tube shortly. Finish our pints, then on the walk back to the coach, we decide we want some food, dom goes for M&S, Sean and I go for the ever-classy tramps picnic (greggs). For some reason dom seems to take an eternity to get out the shop, we realise we''re like 8mins late for the coach and as we say that we see the two nash''s coaches drive past us... ffs! Off to the tube, finally figure out where we are and we need to get to south bermondsey, although we cant because there''s works on the line so have to go to bermondsey and find our way. Sebs phone is playing up, cant get any 3G to access maps, load of crap. Finally flag down a taxi driver who points us in the right direction. Get to the ground about 5mins late, but takes another 5mins or so to get to our seats as we''re stuck in the most unsafely crowded stairwell ive ever seen, that could''ve been disastrous. Bent scored 1st for us, then shittu equalised for them, thinking we''ll hold on for a draw and take the replay back to VP... then we concede late on to a Marquis header... FFS. During the game we witness the delightful home fans giving monkey gestures to Nzogbia, Nazi saluting and lobbing bottles of beer on the pitch (stopped the match for about 5mins)... funny how they didnt serve any booze for us at HT and i wasnt allowed in with a measley bottle of water, 2 cops and a steward felt obliged to come take it off me... t055ers. Only real highlights of the game is dom offering round his prawns & marie rose sauce and packet of grapes. : ) Anyway, after the game - finally find our coach and in my drunken state i decide to cuss out the man from premier for the coaches leaving us in central london, especially as they''d kept us waiting in the bollock-cold for 30mins before the coaches even arrived, and took the wrong route into london so left us with little time to re-fuel! I couldve carried on but just decided to get on the coach as i was just tired and wanted to get home, which also took ages as was stuck in traffic leaving the ground. What a truly miserable game & journey, good piss-up with dom & sean (although Sean wasnt drinking), but wont be going on premier for a london game again.
