Grace and I loved this game and the fans support. Took the train from Liverpool Lime Street at 10:47 and we were at The Valley at 2pm by jumping the Tube to London Bridge and South Eastern train to Charlton. The song ''CAFC the team for me'' was sung with great gusto. We ate at Prezzo London Euston (Grace said her spag bol tasted like wee) before catching the train back to Liverpool Lime Street at 20:22. Unfortunately, there was a fatality at West Allerton Station which meant we had to get off at Liverpool South Parkway and Elaine picked us up from there instead. We did however meet ''Paul'' the Station cat at South Parkway. I was able to claim the full value of the journey back for the 2 of us (£53.35) so a free return trip to London. Result!
