A bizarre opening goal put Grimsby on their heels, but Coventry were good value for 2-0 in the end, and could have had a couple of penalties. Sat in the Youngs Stand Upper which gave me a great view of the traffic up and down the Humber Estuary, including North Sea ferries, as well as trains on the coastal line to Cleethorpes and a Lancaster Bomber. Yes. A Lancaster Bomber. One of only two in the world that are still airworthy. It was 1940s Weekend in Cleethorpes.
