Beautiful hot sunny day, 30 degrees plus. So hot in fact that they had an official water break after 30 mins of the first half. Sat in the temporary (12 years!) Brian Moore scaffolding stand near the very quiet Wigan fans and the police box. Open to the elements so needed the sun tan lotion. Good game of football but Wigan lacked ideas, especially in the first half, and Gillingham were by far the better team. They deserved the win and probably should have scored more. Nice stadium (apart from the temp stand) - surprising to hear they are looking to move. Enjoyed the liquid mushy peas on my chips and ''The Beat'' CDs on the long return drive. Pity that Forest let in a 94th min equaliser away at Bolton!
