Went on the train from Kings Cross to Cambridge with Mum, Dad and Joseph. Train was delayed by 20 mins so we got to Cambridge later and ended up getting a taxi to the ground from the station. When we got to the station Mum went shopping in town centre and me, Dad and Joseph went to the football. It was live on sky so it kick off at 12:15. We got to the ground at 12:05 and I wasn''t able to get a programme because they were sold out. It was a good game overall and Cambridge looked a much better side than Oxford. Looks like it could be long season for oxford. We walked back to the station and went the wrong way because someone had turned the sign the other way. We met Mum at the station and got back home at 17:30. Good day out apart from delays of national rail as always. Nice ground, good character however club shop to small for the amount of people it needs to hold.

Left home in south London at 8.45 to cover any problems with transport. Needed this time buffer as train late departing Kings x and taxi could only get us a mile from ground. We got in at 12.10 by which time all programmes gone and our seats taken. Stewarding very poor and very laid back. Great game though. Signs to station turned round so we ended up in dead end street and had to retrace steps. Got in at 5.45 as bus broke down in Streatham. I consider Cambridge a fairly local outing but the day took 9 hours and we didn''t hang about anywhere.
