Wow. What can you say? - an amazing experience! Had a brilliant night, even though we lost. Fantastic stadium with an incredible view of the city from the away section up in the gods. Huge crowd - 46K (compared to 3600 at Chesterfield 2 days earlier!) and an excellent atmosphere and game - just the result that was poor. Got drenched on the way back to the car but made £200 in cash game at G-casino before I drove home - lovely. And for the 1st time this season the Forest fans sang ''que sera, sera - we''re going to wembley, etc.'' - so reality has hit that it''s the play offs only from here on in. Was also quite proud of myself when I led the ironic chant of ''my garden shed is bigger than this'' and the forest fans sang it 3 or 4 times. Happy days!
Ticket price £40.00 (291 miles - 5hrs. Attended the game with my Dad after my aunt bought us tickets on a weekend away to visit family in Barlow. After Old Trafford I think St James Park is the most impressive stadium in the Premier League, the fans were very passionate which created a great atmosphere and our Platinum Club seats in the Milburn Stand offered a free programme/easy access to bars with fantastic sight lines which although excellent we did get a covering of either snow/sleet/rain throughout the game!
