Bloody awful. For a start the Ricoh is a heartless, commercially obsessed, leisure centre rather than a football stadium. It''s got a casino, hotel, exhibition centre, restaurants, health and fitness centre, etc. all built in. The ticket prices + food, drink and parking are a rip off. There''s advertising and sponsorship everywhere - in the stands, over the tannoy, on the big screen - you name it. They seem to sponsor everything - in fact you probably can''t fart during the match without somebody sponsoring it! The memorial garden for fans no longer with us was a genuinely nice touch but even that was sponsored! That''s just sick - here are some dead people sponsored by XXX! Add to that the fact that Coventry can''t fill their stadium - it looks lovely empty - but half full it looks (and sounds) awful - the acoustics are like being in an air craft hanger. Forest were there on mass, prob 4000+, but even the mass voices of the away support sounded tinny in the stadium. And add to that the fact the football was crap and we lost! We were by far the better team but we created very little to make their keeper work. Virtually everything was off target. Coventry were time wasting and fouling for England after they went 1 up (such a soft goal). The real highlight of the match was the ref injuring himself and having to be replaced by one of his linesmen, who was actually a lineswoman - Amy Fearn, who made football history by becoming the first woman to ever ref a league match!
