Drove to the match and remember overtaking all the Swindon coaches on the way to the ground. Dennis Wise was in charge of Swindon, sat in the shallow main stand
A trip from holidaying in the Lake District and to get a ground in which has become a tradition. My main memory from this game is being mistaken for one of the players. As I was queueing up for the car aprk a steward ushered me through to the palyers car park and then looked slightly surprised as I headed past the palyers entrance and toward the turnstile. I thoguht about limping to pretend I was injured. The main feature of the game was the dreadful error by the Accrington defence for Swindons equaliser. Also trying (& failing) to get a word with Paul Ince who was helping the coaching at Swindon at the time.
