first tranmere away game an fa cup third round replay the first game ended in a 1-1 draw, Tranmere were the underdogs as they took on a team one division higher from the third division. The prolific Ian Muir got the consolation but the over riding memory was the referee jogging backwards bumped into Muir and in the process dropped his yellow card muir jokingly picked it up and hid it behind his back for a few seconds unfortunatley and maybe through embaresment the ref didnt see the funny side and promptly booked the innocent Muir! I think gazza had something similiar happen to him around this era
