Following its move here from Manor Field the club name was changed to Arsenal FC in 1914 and, despite finishing only fifth in Division 2, was elected into Division 1 from Division 2 in 1920. The first match to be broadcast on radio was the 1-1 draw between Arsenal and Sheffield United played here on January 22nd, 1927. The club moved to the Emirates Stadium in 2006.
