GROUND HISTORY adapted from "The Ultimate Directory of English & Scottish Football League Grounds"
Located to the south of the town centre and on the east side of West Bromwich Road, Walsall Town Swifts FC moved into the ground in 1893. The pitch was surrounded by an oval running track and the facilities included a stand on the west side and some banking at the south end giving a nominal capacity of 4,000.

The club moved to Fellows Park in 1895 and, after returning for a short period at the end of the 1900/01 season, the site was later redeveloped for housing.
