Due to potential crowd problems the fixture v. Swindon Town on April 11th, 1987 was moved to Ashton Gate. The new ground was not ready for the start of the 1996/7 season and the first home game of that season was played here v. Peterborough United. During this period the club was also involved in a Football League Play Off Match at the neutral venue of Wembley Stadium. | |
