I drove my Renault Scenic HK53AUL and picked up Chris Brennan and friend Richard (Dixie) Cooper at Victoria, then drove to Heathrow to pick up Mike Brennan off his flight from New York. Then up to Kettering, Mike changing from his ''city'' clothes to jeans etc, in the car park of a supermarket near the ground. The lads went for a drink in the Shire Horse, while I visited a museum and church. A few idiots attracted the attention of the police and our end was videoed by the police. The game was touch and go, but 2 late goals gave us an easy 4-2 win. Home at 20.15 after 210 mile drive.
