Comments :
It was a 50/50 decision as to wether to come here or go to watch Raith rovers, however having another earlish start for Sundays 12 noon kick off for the Chester v Tranmere game and a few other minor complications i left home at 8am arriving in Motherwell for 12. Had a quick look in the town centre and headed to the ground. Chose to sit in the main stand as i prefer a side veiw and the opposite side seemed to have too many posts however their was very little leg room in a very old stand. i got talking to a couple of home fans and chatted about numerous player connections between our clubs and at the end of the match one of them kindly offered me his Motherwell scarf. As for the game Motherwell generally had the edge but according to the programme the jags last win here was in 1996 so it shouldn''t have been a surprise! Ex Wrexham player Moult scored twice the first from the pen spot and johnson the other for well with a Booth effort squirming under Ripley at his near post for the jags consolation.
