Loved the Walled Meadow. A rickety main stand - a ground literally in a Walled Meadow in the centre of a town. Robust non league football where endeavour exceeded skill. A crowd so small players and officials could be left in no doubt about the crowd''s perception of them. An historic ground no longer with us.
