Amazing game. Southampton played as well, in the first half, as anything I have seen in this division. Walcott ran riot and Leeds were lucky not to be five or six down. After the interval Leeds improved and pulled one back. Southampton seemed to disintegrate and without playing especially well Leeds scored&nbsp - a second. At this point scores of Saints fans started to leave! In one sense their fears were justified as Leeds got two more, but how about staying and shouting for your team? &nbsp - Aug 2009 I still cannot understand how this club has gone down to where it is now. All the money from the sale of Walcott and others seems to have evaporated. Fans morale was fragile, though some seemed to feel they had a divine right to be in the Premier League. &nbsp - At Burnley last year they were a shambles, going three down in the first ten minutes. Burnley, foolishly eased off and the Saints showed some spirit in coming back to 3-2. &nbsp -

Quite simply the best away day I''ve ever had. Home fans were superb (at least while they were winning) but it was no match for the belief in the team shown by the away fans in the last 15 mins as Leeds grabbed 4 in that space of time. Definitely one of the highlights of my life as a Leeds fan and the happy memories from that day would be the reason I returned the year after
