My first ever game at the Stadium of Light. It was in the previous season I had begun to follow Sunderland properly, and to see them back in the Premier League on the opening day of what would be ultimately dyer season was still special. The atmosphere and occaision is something I won't forget, and sadly that goes for the result as well, Charlton who started the year really strongly were in great form on the day. Andy Gray getting his only ever goal on his debut for Sunderland and my Dad winning a few quid on Darren Bent first goal scorer were the other notable memories of the day.
