A lad from the school where I taught in Burnley was selected to play for England Schoolboys at Forest's  ground. There was torrential rain and the match was off. We looked in a local paper for a match within reach and found Wednesday v Spurs. Tottenham played Clive Allen alone up front but with different midfielders supporting. He scored a huge number of goals that year including one here. We were also treated to the best display of defending I have ever seen from the magnificent Richard Gough.
