A truly dismal performance on the field, but more memorable for the "Marshall Must Go" campaign that was gathering pace. We were protesting about the lack of invesment int he team, instead of spending all the money on the stadium. The New Stand ended up bancrupting the club and was currently about 50 yards from the pitch. Before this game the South Bankers protested by massing outside the entrance and not entering the stadium until 10 minutes into the match. In the end it was about 5 minutes !
