First time to Emirates. Fabulous stadium with great facilities. Brentford''s 9,000 fans made a considerable noise, so the stadium design works well for crowd noise. It''s a pity the home fans are so sedate. Great sightlines. I was 4 rows from front of Upper Tier of East Stand, and the view was excellent, and not too far from the pitch. Whole stadium very well designed including exterior walkways etc with so many tributes to past players. Due to a strike on the Piccadilly Line I had to leave the match 15 minutes early to get my train back to Solihull, which was a pity as Bees had pulled it back to 1-2 with an excellent free-kick goal. Welbeck took his two goals well. Mkhitaryan had a shocker. Published attendance doesn''t match what I saw in the ground. Might have been round 40,000?
