I finished an excellent driving lesson with Josh and then set off in my Fiesta to Gainsborough. I decided to have Kentucky Fried Chicken for lunch as it was closest to the ground. I had a Zinger box set including a burger, two hot wings, beans and a crushem. I was desperate for the toilet so I rushed to the ground. I was let in as an old age pensioner which I found amusing. The toilets were hard to find but I got there in the end. The first half was dominated by Slough and they took a deserved 1-0 lead into half time. Gainsborough’s ground is a typical non league, old style ground Consisting of half roofed areas and a lot of terracing. A fair bit of character. A stunning goal was scored by Slough straight after half time. Then there followed four more. I left before goal number six. It had been an entertaining afternoon and a ground done that should''ve been done years ago. I was home by 1730. Grimsby Town had meanwhile lost 1-0 at Plymouth.
