With West Brom currently standing 8th in the Prem, and Derby County 7th in the Championship and just a couple of points off the play off positions it hard to know whether this tie was an interruption or a break. Either way it was a well attended game and both sets of supporters were looking forward to it. The Derby fans had taken over the entire Smethwick End and were well up for it and sang all for the entire 90 minutes.
