Good day out despite result. Sloped off work in afternoon and picked up Wayne, Ali and Robbie at Forest ground on route to WHL. Visited Haringey Irish Centre for ale and snap pre match - good place for away fans - very friendly. Had the pen knife on my car keys confiscated by stewards on way in to stadium but got it back after. WHL is a lovely stadium (pity they are moving soon) but their fans were so quiet, even when they were winning. 3000 (sold out) away fans made loads of noise. Forest played well and matched spurs for 70 mins, hitting the crossbar in first half and taking the lead in the second. But we lost it in the last 20 mins. The spurs equaliser was a wonder strike - unstoppable. Their second was a lucky deflection. And their third was hitting us on the break as we pushed to equalise. So the scoreline flattered spurs in my opinion. But good trip regardless. U reds!
