Another fantastic trip. Ran round Stanley Park in morning, then a cafe breakie and pub beer pre match. Watched Forest thrash West Ham 5 0 in the pub rammed with Liverpool fans who cheered every Forest goal. Walked the 4 sides of the ground including the Shankly gates and Hillsborough memorial, the statue of Shankly and the Paisley gates. Into the corner of the Kop to watch the giant flags and hear You''ll Never Walk Alone pre KO - every Liverpool scalf raised in every corner of the ground as they sang it. Saw Gerrard, Suarez and co take on a spirited Oldham side with very vocal travelling support. Saw Brendan Rodgers son Anton play for Oldham against his dad''s side. Had another great day out.
