Loved everything still buzzing thinking about the day. I took George and Derek (father in law age 81!!) Even the trip down was great stopped on m6 services just got our food from macdonalds when all the notts supporters coaches arrived it was amazing to see so many !.Visited the antony gormley sculptures on Crosby beach before heading to Anfield. Looks amazing and cant understand why they would want to move.I hadn''t got a clue where to park and bear in mind my dad struggles to walk very far so I was hoping to park quite close,well I pulled into a carpark on a park area below the ground and the steward said it was for permit holders only but he was sooo helpful and said it wasn''t a problem I could use the car park and to find a spot as close to the ground as I could- Aah who said stewards not helpful they were brilliant. The whole game and the atmosphere was stunning. for saying we are only a league one club the Liverpool supporters turned out -they are totally dedicated. It was rammed where we sat but laugh out loud I got in the ladies okay at half time but couldn''t get back out the doorways and passage was too crammed with notts supporters getting drinks/food !! So pleased to see one of the great embassadors of football Steven Gerrad- he his so skilled doesn''t even need to look up to play the ball he knows where the players are ! and he had a great bit of banter with our fans when we asked him what the score was at 2-2. It was a night I wont forget nor my 17 year son George who never stopped smiling and chanting. Walked out with all the Liverpool fans into their carpark and there was no sort of atmosphere at all everyone was super friendly. Thrashed my husbands time of getting home from Liverpool in 1hour and 1/2 .The exit from Liverpool is so easy they have got that down to a fine art unlike Manchester. Brilliant I loved it (ground coming a joint favourite with West Ham).
