Third trip to Wembley with the Lions. It was a 5:15 kick off so it gave us a chance to spend the entire day in the shipwright arms near London bridge station. Still to this day say it was a terrible policing decision to make it a 5:15 kick off as it gave our fans the opportunity to do the exact same and drink all day. Which is why during the game there was a bit of trouble, but you've probably heard about that. Anyway it was another rainy day for me at Wembley. The game itself wasn't awful but Wigans premier league quality showed as they outplayed us the vast majority of the game. We didn't expect to win and was just happy to be there so nothing was lost really. Good day out again at wembley.
