Not my first visit to the home of Liverpool, not the first time I saw Newcastle win there either but I remember a fantastic goal from Stevie Watson. Our forwards were injured so we brought him on as a sub, played up front by himself and scored a fantastic solo effort goal. As always, amazed at how much of a dump Anfield was and the number of Charvers who wanted to look after my mate Bobby's car. Couple of near death experiences on the journey down wit Bobby's ropey driving. Snapped the key in his krooklock but thankfully Dennis got it open for us to be able to leave. Should have paved the way to the final but for cheating from Lee Dixon and terrible refereeing at Arsenal in the next round.
