Just Taylor & I for this bad boy. Day trip, and it''s knock out time. The game itself was dull, Italy with all the posession, but bar an early rocket from de Rossi rattling the woodwork, not much in the way of chances. Extra time came and went, and so it came to the dreaded penalties. It started well, Gerrard and Rooney netting, whilst Balotelli netted but Montilivio missed. It looked good, the semi''s were on, then disaster, Young hit the bar, and Buffon bested Cole. Pirlo with an audacious chip, and Nocerino both netted in response. If Diamanti scored, England were out....and so Taylor and I went home, 4 hours later than expected as delays added to our misery. Bye bye Ukraine, it was emotional.
