Sat in the 93:20 area of the East Stand for the best match of the season to date at the Etihad. Palace took a deserved 2 goal lead through Eze and Richards and had a 3rd before the half hour disallowed for offside. Step forward Kevin de Bruyne on his first home game since announcing his departure, he hit a 25 yard free kick to pull a goal back quickly followed by an equaliser from Omar Marmoush. City then came out guns blazing in the 2nd half with a 47th minute goal from Kovacic (another de Bruyne assist) followed by goals from McAtee and O''Reilly to wrap up against a stunned Palace. Overall a brilliant game and a privilege to see one of Kevin de Bruyne''s farewell games. What an absolutely brilliant player he has been for Manchester City.
