Good start to the new year with the result putting us into the automatic promotion places. Left home at about 13:30 and got the 127 bus to Figgs March before changing for the 280 bus. Got to the ground at about 14:10 and watched the last few mins of the Arsenal v Man City game in the bar. The game itself was a dull one. The opening 10 mins were heptic and we took the lead on 8 mins through a header from Bugiel from a lovely cross by Kizzi. Exeter managed to equalise within a minute though as Bouzanis spilled a speculative shot into the path of the Exeter player who tapped in the gift into the open goal. The game then died with both sides cancelling each other out with only a few chances landing our way but rustiness in front of goal didn''t help us. Thankfully in the 87th minute we won a penalty after good work by Bennett with Milsom dispatching the penalty into the back of the net. A good win and another 3 points grounded out. Walked back and got the 280 bus to Mitcham and got the 127 home getting back at about 17:40.
