This was a Littlewood''s Cup 3rd round 2nd replay. Entrance at the Witton End cost £4. If memory serves me correctly Arsenal took the lead but Liverpool ran out winners with goals from Steve McMahon and John Aldridge. Midway through the first half Tony Adams miss-kicked and the Liverpool fans started making donkey noises every time he touched the ball. Adams was clearly affected by this which only made the Liverpool fans do it all the louder. Adams had a stinker.
