Went with Dad on the way to Chester for third year of uni. Left home at about 7:00 and drove up stopping at Warwick on the way at about 10:30. Went to AFC Fylde on the way to get tickets for the evening game. Got to Fleetwood at about 13:15 and parked on an adjacent street from the ground. Had lunch in the park next door and then went onto the concourse to watch the 2nd half of the Leicester v Spurs game. In the 1st half we sat in the main stand in full sun. Fleetwood were the better side but went behind after about 10 mins through a break by Rochdale which was their first attempt on goal. Fleetwood continued to play the better football and equalised about 10-15 mins later after the ball found its way to the back post for a tap in. Fleetwood continued to dominate the 1st half with Rochdale having a few chances on the break but it was 1-1 at HT. We decided to move into the terrace behind the goal in the second half because of the sun. Fleetwood, once again, dominated the 2nd half and played some nice football throughout. They eventually found a winner through a flick header by Ched Evans about 5 mins before the end of the game to win it. We then got straight back into the car and drove to AFC Fylde for the second game of the day.
