Sad day for football today. Glenn Hoddle suffered a heart attack in the BT studios this morning. Later in the day the Leicester City chairman was one of five people killed when his helicopter crashed moments after leaving the King Power pitch after City''s late kick off against West Ham. Was intending to go to Northampton Town today but decided on a trip to the ''Thorns instead to see if West Brom could get back to winning ways after a couple of poor results (and performances) in the last few weeks. Arrived about 12 and the drizzly rain turned to a session of sleet and it was so cold I had to have a McDonald''s coffee.
