28 years since my last visit to turf Moor a return was overdue. It did however come at an emotional cost as it would be the first tranmere league game I''d miss since our relegation to the national league (away to eastleigh lost 0-2). I''d been thinking of cutting down on some of the long distance away trips this season to free up some Saturdays to do a few new ground visits but it was tough none the less. Drove to burnley and sat in the lower tier of the James Hargreaves stand, this was covered terrace the last time I was here with a no man''s land separating the two sets of supporters. The game wasn''t great but surprised motd didn''t show the 1 on 1 in the first minute with wba failing to score.
