Substitute Will Miller grabbed an injury-time equaliser as Burton denied Wolves a third win of the season. Miller turned in Lloyd Dyer''s cross in the fourth minute of added time, to earn Burton a deserved draw. Oddly Wolves'' two best players: Price & Bodvarsson started on the bench. Lucas Akins had a first-half penalty saved by Wolves keeper Carl Ikeme after Richard Stearman, in his first game since re-joining from Fulham, handled. Prince Oniangue had broken the deadlock for Wolves in the second half of a tight match with a half-volley after good work from Jon Dadi Bodvarsson. The Brewers edged the first half in the first meeting between the sides, with Jamie Ward forcing another good stop from Ikeme. Wolves, who are unbeaten in the league at home in 10 matches, came on strong with Bodvarsson wasting a free header from 10 yards, and Joe Mason poking wide from close range. Disappointingly both Coady and Costa were both booked for simulation, something that seems to characterise the latter''s game!

Not been to the Molineux since about 1974 when the Wolves hosted Manchester United. And what a stunning stadium it is now! It has been completely transformed since the mid 1990''s and is unrecognizable as the one I visited over 40 years ago. Even the roof beams are impressive. Externally the stands are painted gold with some black trim. Outside the ground are statues of Wolves legends Billy Wright and Stan Cullis. The Cullis stand, formerly the North Bank terrace, houses the well stocked club shop, the ticket office the Wolves museum and home fans bar, The North Bank. After the obligatory security check, entry to the stadium is via automated ticket scanning turnstiles. the area under the Cullis stand where I was sat is clean and bright and well maintained. The usual food and drink outlets and toilets are located in this area, which is quite wide so less chance of getting barged. Up a small set of steps and the stadium opens out magnificently. Molineux has four separate covered stands, and has all gold coloured seating, with some seat sections coloured black spelling out the name of Wolves or in the shape of the Wolf Head crest. The Billy Wright stand, which runs the length of the pitch on the Waterloo Rd side, is a two tiered cantilever with a row of executive boxes running between the two tiers. This stand also houses the dressing rooms, tunnel and managers dugouts. On the opposite side of the pitch is the Steve Bull stand named after the legendary Wolves striker. Again this is a two tiered cantilever with a row of executive boxes running between the two tiers. The lower tier is given up to away supporters. An unusual aspect of these two stands is that they curve out slightly from the touch line. The Stan Cullis stand, behind the north goal, is another two tiered cantilever with the lower tier being larger than the upper and a row of hospitality boxes running in between. The final stand is the Sir Jack Hayward Stand, more commonly known as the South Bank. It is here that the most vocal Wolves fans congregate and produce the fantastic atmosphere inside Molineux. Basically they don''t stop singing. The corner sections between the South Bank and the Billy Wright stand, and the Steve Bull and Stan Cullis stands have seating but are rarely used these days. The two opposite corners house video screens but are no longer in use. The floodlights, rather than on pylons, run along the length of the top of the Billy Wright and Steve Bull stands.Molineux is a superb stadium and the fans deserves top flight football. As for the game itself: didn''t really catch fire but it looked like it might be Wolves day after Carl Ikeme saved a very poorly taken Lucas Akins penalty after Richard Stearman handled. On 77 minutes Prince Oniangue scored for the home side which should have won the game. However the Brewers never gave up and William Miller scored an injury time equalizer. Not a classic game but an enjoyable one played in a superb stadium. end of season 16/17- Burton finished 20th on 52 points.
