I has already booked my train tickets but the bad weather made me think twice about going. Still I went to Norbiton to catch my train only to find all the stations to Clapham Junction are closed for the next six weekend for engineering work. I took a bus to Richmond instead & just caught the train. I thought if I get to Euston on time, all well & good otherwise what will be will be. Actually, I got to Euston 15 minutes early - in good time to collect my tickets & ride. There was then a delay until 2pm at the Stadium, wondering whether to let us in or not pending the late pitch inspection. Fortunately, the game went ahead and it was a good day in the end.
