Another long trip, but no traffic hold-ups and there in four hours. We''ll never have to travel this far again before we complete the 92 god willing, as only three grounds left now and we should do them before the end of this season. Had a quick drive to the sea front on arrival and agreed that there are elements of Blackpool (plus jellied eels!) but it''s not really that bad. On to the game and a complete shocker, bereft of any quality whatsoever, basic kick and hope tactics a la Stoke (sorry Jon). Electric scoreboard at half time carried adverts for the Samaritans (no shit) and they must have had a surge in calls that afternoon! Although we sat on the back row, on half way, there were people stood on the concourse immediately behind us throughout. Innane chatter very annoying, but cheered by one idiot loudmouth who spent the whole match screaming at the referee, who on the whole had a good game I thought. Typical complaint was ''Yes you''ve given that foul there you t**t, but you won''t give the same thing in the box will you you c**t''. Brilliantly illogical and thoroughly entertaining!
