The drummer in my band has always been a vague fan of Brentford but had never been to a game so combined with my pursuit of doingthe92 (and the fact tickets were only a fiver each) we got on this one. Coming from Surrey and avoiding any major traffic the journey in was a swift 40 minutes, the up and coming modern business structures lining the motorway gave way quickly to run down residential surroundings quickly outside the ground, summing up London in a nutshell. The catch with the cheap tickets was the location in the ground, right in the corner, third row back, a stand between stands almost. Didn't prove too significant in the end as the ground is very compact and very old-woldy with the standing terraces behind each goal. Didn't manage to get into any of the four pubs which are on each side of the ground, something I will do in the future if I'm in the area again. The game itself flew by despite a bit of a lackluster first half, Brentford bossed it second half and should have won by more, proved they are worthy of being up in the play off places. Stuart Dallas scored again, thats the third goal I've seen him score live this season after the Dagenham game.
